Burning or Burned Out

If our flame goes out, what is left is darkness, an empty abyss.  There is a light from within that keeps our torch burning, that is our spiritual flame.  There is also our actual physical energy source that keeps our external torch bright.  Both are required to light up the world.  ~Sherry Petro-Surdel from A Voice of Reason
