Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the decision that something else is more important than fear. The something else is the belief that our own spirit can create our path. Ralph Waldo Emerson said: “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
T.S. Elliot said: “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.”
We are going to see how far we can go. I can only imagine what is next.
Martin Luther King said: “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just the first step.”
Remember that faith goes up the stairs that love has built.
