Keep Your Eye on the Donut

There was a sign on the wall at a coffee shop in Chicago that stated a great wisdom.  It said “As you wander on through life, sister/brother, whatever be your goal, keep your eye upon the donut and not upon the hole.”  Remember the hole is what I don’t have, the donut is all I do have and it is sweet.  ~Sherry Petro-Surdel
