As I move into 2016, I do so with joy in my heart. I remember that laughter is contagious and just the thought of this, brings a smile to my face.
At any moment I can tap into joy, as I know that joy is not connected to any external circumstances. I share joy by expressing it in all I do. Joyful experiences are created in my life and in the lives of others because of the joy in my heart.
This devotion is dedicated to my brother Jeff on the day of his birth. He brought many, many tears to my life but he also helped me to grow and to understand that having joy in my heart is my choice. I am happy to report that my brother and I can share joy together much more easily these days. Ah, the wisdom of the ages. ~Kathy Horton
